Cricut Christmas ornaments card

It's a been a while since I cut a whole project with my Cricut, but I still use it and love it.
I used the cartridges Creative Holidays cards and Christmas/Noel to cut the card base and the ornaments :

The sentiment is stamped (Momenta) with brown Stazon ink on white cardstock and cut out.
The ornaments and the snowflakes on the card were decorated with Stickles (Ranger). A pearl string was the perfect add to them.
I dug into my old Christmas stash to find this K&Company paper ! I didn't do on purpose, but when I look at the inside of the card, I saw that the Santa was perfectly placed ! I was going to cut a blackout for the inside, but decided not after seeing this :

You can now go on with your day, don't forget to come back tomorrow for the 7th Christmas card.
Giveaway is still running until the 25th, see the post on the top left column for details.

Have a great day !

From Santa's desk - Christmas card n.5

Another day, another card, another style !

Today's highlight is about stamping and coloring on Christmas card... I choose a stamp, Lutine,  by La Compagnie des Elfes, a French stamp company, colored with my Copic markers, on DCWV papers (All about Christmas stack).

I cut out the gifts from one paper and the colored elf, and placed them on the journaling card, matted with green paper from the same stack.

Thank you for stopping by. Don't forget to comment and follow to enter the giveaway...

Have a great day !

Mixed media Christmas card - Day 4

Hello crafters !

I know that some of you were away for the Holidays, so I forgive you for not being there on Day 1 of my 30 cards before Christmas event ! But you now have no excuse for missing another card ! And you still can comment on the previous cards to enter my giveaway (see details there)...

I'm doing this little event for the fourth year now, and I did notice that this year a big company (from one of my previous DT) like the idea so much they decide to make a countdown too ! Am I becoming an influencer ? Let's say I'm flattered.

As I like playing with mixed media things so much, I've decided to create a more artistic card this time, using ink and crackle paste to create my background :

The base is an embossed white card by DCWV, spraid with Raider Colorations spray by Art Anthology, and covered with gold crackle paste (Prima Marketing). I let run the Raider ink up and down on the right side before applying the paste.
I added some gold glitter glue to the poinsettia (Prima Marketing), and draw small circles on the center of them before adhering them with Glue Dots.
I cut out the journaling from the Christmas Plaid stack (DCWV) and adhered it with 3D foam.

I think it's one of my most beautiful Christmas card. Simple but sophisticated, very elegant don't you think ?

I hope I will see you tomorrow for another card. Dont't forget to comment and follow to enter my giveway...

Thank you for your time and have a great day !

Holly Jolly Holidays card

How are you today ? Ready to jump into Christmas spirit ? Beside my cards, I'm so not ready, my house will not be decorate until next week end, and I didn't even start my Christmas shopping list !

The card I will show you today is made with the same papers and stickers collection than yesterday's card : Christmas Creations stack by DCWV and stickers by Recollections. I just add a red pompom ribbon on the top.

It's a quick and simple card, well coordinate with yesterday's one in papers and design.

Thank you for stopping by on this Sunday. I hope you will come tomorrow to see the next card... It will be a mixed media project !
And don't forget to follow and comment to enter my giveaway !

Dec 25 Christmas card

It's a peppy card I got for you today, with vivid colors and different textures : velvet ribbon, crochet lace, glossy snowflakes with crystals, woody stickers, glittery papers... A very fun card to make !

The papers are by DCWV (during these two years as guest designer, I received a bunch of Christmas stacks !), from Christmas creations stack.
Snowflakes and wood sticker are Recollections embellishments, and I found the ribbons at Michaels long ago.

Don't forget to comment and follow to enter my current Christmas giveaway (see there for details) !

I wish you a great day, and I will see you tomorrow (I wish that too) for another card !

Fall mini album with DCWV and Piggy Tales

Hello !

This will probably be my last Fall post. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving day, and I will start my 30 Christmas cards right after that...

Today's project is the perfect opportunity to assemble all your Fall memories in one mini album...

I only use two things to create this album : a mini with peek-a-boo windows by Piggy Tales and Autumn Leaves stack by DCWV.
I cut out the title out of a journaling card. It really pops from the leaves paper with copper accent.

I didn't fill the album with pictures (yet) but already prepare the spots for them. The small rounded squares are in fact windows where you can placed picture or journaling or paper. Love this peek-a-boo feature !

The stack has a lot of great designs, like this blue paper, or the one with leaves and the one with scriptures below.

I have always add details to the windows, or change the paper over it. This album came with a template to cut the paper at the exact size of the album with lines for the windows too !

I really got a thing for copper this year...

This album has 5 double pages, lot of room for pictures and journaling, it could be a perfect gift for Thanksgiving !

I hope you enjoyed what you saw. Thank you for reading this post.

I wish you a fantastic Thanksgiving day tomorrow, don't spend too much on Friday and don't forget to stop by my blog to see the first of my 30 Christmas cards !

November More than Words challenge layout

Hello everyone !

I did make a layout for the More than Words challenge this month, and I will try my best to not forget a requirement for the challenge...

I followed all the quotes : I got something blue (obviously) with the inks, something old (hidden in my stash rub-ons), and something new (brand new silver stones found in a home decor aisle) ! Nothing borrowed except time from my shores...
The Word "special" inspired me a layout about my oldest daughter because she is so very special to me (as my youngest) !

I used an embossed white paper for the background (DCWV), with Stargazer Minx, Raider Colorations spray and Ink Spot Colorations spray by Art Anthology, very old black lines rubons, a 12x12 stencil by TCW with light modeling paste, and silver stones (glued one by one !).

Title is an epoxy word by Heidi Swapp, and picture is matted with DCWV papers (jet Black and Copper Blues stacks).

Did you notice the change of my blog's template ? I hope you like it more... If not let me know !

Thank you for your time and see you soon !

Prima CAT November challenge tag

This month, the Prima Marketing PPP challenge was filled with mint, lavender even purple colors. As I didn't have any of the products pick, I decide to go for the CAT challenge with them. So I ended up with a tag loaded with Prima products :

I followed this sketch :

Catnovcolor

and used a Aquarelle tag, papers from the French Riveria kit, Fairy Belle stamp, crackle stamp, Prima ribbon, wood icon (Cartographer), wood border, Prima dies (leaves and clock), chalks in pink and purple and of course Prima flowers !

I added to that some Art Anthology paints (to obtain the light purple on paper), Vintage photo distress ink (Ranger) and few half pearls.

Thank you for stopping by on your busy Monday ! I'm always thrilled to see some visitors...
Have a great day and see you soon !

Thankful card with DCWV

Hello everyone !

Just a simple card today for the soon to be Thanksgiving ! I use the Harvest house stack by DCWV to create this one, by layering mats, cut leaves and journaling tag.
I love the warm colors of this stack and the touch of gold !

In a little bit more than 2 weeks, I will start my 30 days before Christmas... These 3 past years, I did 30 cards, 30 tags and 30 gift card holders from November 25th to December 24th, one for each day before Christmas, followed by a giveaway for those who comment on my blog during this period.

I'm back with cards this year, just after Thanksgiving. So I will be very busy creating cards until then (and other creations, don't worry) ! I hope you enjoyed these past Christmas projects and will join me on this blog to discover each of the new one ! And if it's your first Christmas with me, don't forget to come back soon for it (and before for non-Christmas related projects...) !

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day !

DCWV November challenge layout

As promised, here is the layout I made for the new challenge of the DCWV blog :

I used the Minty Lace stack and the following sketch to create it :

I did you notice that I didn't use flowers or leaves nor fussy cutting ? I should get a doctor appointment, maybe I'm sick... Don't worry, I got few projects to come with plenty of both ! You just have to come back often to see them !

Thank you for your time and see you soon !

DCWV November challenge card

November will be a very busy month (don't forget we are only 2 months apart from Christmas...), lots of projects for challenges or just fun are coming... Today it's the DCWV challenge's turn. I made a layout and a card (you will see the layout tomorrow).
Here is the sketch for the card :

Before I start my 30 days before Christmas thing (like every year starting on the 25th of November...), I still have few days left playing with Fall stuff, so I made an Autumn card !

I used the Autumn Leaves stack by DCWV and my love of fussy cutting to create it...

I think I got one Fall card or two to show you before the Christmas ones, so stay tunes...
Thank you for stopping by and see you tomorrow for the layout...

November Tim Holtz's mixed techniques tag

Sorry if I didn't post last week, we were in vacations in the mountains with limited access to my scrap stash... Let's say I brought some stacks, stamps and my markers, and forgot my acrylic block, my ruler and some ribbons... Anyway we had a great time like always, Fall is fantastic there and weather was too. A lot of inspirational landscapes and colorful nature.

That what you will find in my new tag for the November mixed techniques of Tim Holtz's blog. All about colors and Fall...

You probably can spot the distress inks in marmalade, aged mahogany and mowed lawn, and the TH Sizzix Friendship word "hello" die, and it's all I have from Tim Holtz's collections...
Papers are by DCWV : white cardstock, cork and corrugate paper.
Rub-ons came from an old collection by 7Gypsies.
Acorn charm by Blue Moon Beads.
Alpha stickers by Sticko (EK Success).
Leaf stamp found in the $1 bin at Michaels so long ago...

The rub-ons are really popping from the tag with this technique !
Are you gonna try it ? If so, have fun, and in any case, see you soon !
